On May 8 2020, the world celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Victory in Europe (VE Day) of World War II / The Great Patriotic War honoring our veterans and remembering the millions of civilians who lost their lives. The BRAVO 369 Flight Foundation is leading an international team as part of a friendship flight and documentary film project paying tribute and telling the history of the united effort between the United States, Russia and other Allies that led to the great victory over fascism.

During the past 10 years, the BRAVO 369 Flight Foundation has been the leading organization researching and telling the story of Lend-Lease and the ALSIB – America’s secret “pipeline” between Washington, DC and Moscow during World War II. In 2015, BRAVO 369’s international team flew the entire air route from Great Falls, Montana to Krasnoyarsk, Russia to bring this story to the forefront and promote a better understanding and goodwill between the United States and Russia. It was an overwhelming success.
In the words of John F. Tefft, former U.S. Ambassador in Moscow: “Despite the current tensions in our relationship, I am confident that Americans and Russians will continue to find common cause on issues of mutual interest. And initiatives like this (BRAVO 369) serve as an important reminder that our countries can, have, and do work together. Let us commit ourselves to ensuring that this will always be the case.”
